Total RNA was reverse-transcribed using PrimeScript RT Master Mix (Clonetech) containing random hexamer and oligo (dT) primer. Alternatively, SMART MMLV Reverse Transcriptase (Clonetech) with oligo (dT) primer was used. Aliquots of the products were amplified using BioRad CFX96.
