Arecoline Treatment of Oral Cells

The Smulow–Glickman (S-G) human gingival epithelial and FaDu OSCC cell lines were used in this study. The cultivation of these cells was following the protocols previously used.
Arecoline was purchased from Sigma Chemical Co. (St. Louis, MO, USA) and was dissolved in ddH₂O as a stock solution of 100 mM. Just before use, Arecoline was further diluted in culture medium to appropriate final concentrations [41 (link)].
