Preparing RA-Like Compounds for Cell Studies

All-trans retinoic acid (atRA, Sigma Cat# R2625) and ionomycin salt (Cat# I0634) were obtained from Sigma (St. Louis, MO, USA) and dissolved in DMSO. RA-like compounds C32 and C4 were synthesized by our collaborator Dr. Hiroyuki Kagechika at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. More details on the RA-like compound library can be found in [12 (link)]. For compound studies, C32 and C4 were dissolved in DMSO. All compounds were stored at −80 °C with limited freeze-thaw cycles.
