Neurofilament Light Quantification

Serum samples were stored at − 20 °C after preparation. NFL measurement was performed as described previously^{19 (link),20 (link)}, using the Advantage NF-Light Singleplex-Kit on a Simoa HD-1 instrument (Quanterix). Calibrators and diluted serum samples were measured in duplicates. The lower threshold of quantification was 0.775 pg/ml. Both the mean intraassay coefficient of variation of duplicates and the mean interassay coefficient of variation were < 10%.
