GPC Analysis of Polymer Molecular Weights

Molecular weight distributions were obtained by using an Agilent Infinity II multi-detector gel permeation chromatography (GPC) instrument comprising a guard column and two PL gel mixed-C columns. The mobile phase contained 0.10% w/v LiBr in HPLC grade DMF and the flow rate was fixed at 1 mL min⁻¹ at 80 °C. The GPC was calibrated using near-monodispersed poly(methyl methacrylate) standards (M_p range = 535–1 591 000 g mol⁻¹).
