Apoptosis Quantification by Flow Cytometry

Flow cytometry analysis was performed as mentioned before^{9 (link)}. Briefly, For the cell apoptosis assay, A total of 1 × 10⁶ cells were resuspended in a single cell suspension and washed two times with PBS solution. The cell apoptosis analysis was performed with the Annexin V-FITC or Annexin V-APC Apoptosis Detection Kit (BD Biosciences, San Diego, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The rates of apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry (CyAn, Beckman Coulter).
