CB6F1/J Mice Breeding Protocol

Adult (7- to 10-week-old) female CB6F1/J mice were purchased from The Jackson Laboratories (Bar Harbor, ME, USA). CB6F1/J neonatal mice (6-day old) were obtained by in-house breeding of C57BL/6 males and BALB/c females (The Jackson Laboratories) (62 (link)). Mice were bred and housed in specific-pathogen free conditions at an American Association for the Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care-accredited animal facility at the Uniformed Services University (USU) and housed in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, National Research Council, 8th Edition, 2011. This study was conducted under USU Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) approval (protocol# PED-23-908).
