- Administration of saline (control) or the RAGE antagonist FPS‐ZM1 (1 mg/kg IV) after ROSC
- Neurological outcome evaluation for 72 hours after ROSC
- Brain lesions evaluated by fluorojade C staining at the end of the 72‐hour follow-up
- Rabbit model
- Time of neurological outcome evaluation (6 hours after ROSC for 72 hours)
- Positive control: Rabbits receiving the RAGE antagonist FPS‐ZM1 after ROSC
- Negative control: Rabbits receiving saline (control) after ROSC
