Survival Analysis of Biomarker Correlations

Clinical data were collected prospectively and analyzed according to a standardized protocol as previously described^{11 (link),12 (link)}. SPSS Statistics for Mac (Version 21, SPSS) was used for statistical analysis. Interdependence between stainings and clinical data were calculated using the chi-squared and Fisher’s exact tests, and displayed by cross-tables. Survival curves were plotted using the Kaplan–Meier method and analyzed using the log-rank test. All tests were two-sided. P values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant.
