Liver Injury Model with hDPSC Therapy

Wild-type mice at 9 weeks of age intraperitoneally received a CCl₄ solution twice a week for 4 weeks. The CCl₄ solution was freshly prepared CCl₄ (0.5 mg/kg in olive oil [Wako Pure Chemicals]; CCl₄:olive oil = 1:4 volume/volume). The 4-week-CCl₄-treated mice received each donor-derived hDPSC products (0.1 × 10⁶/10 g body weight in PBS) via the spleen [26 (link)]. The hDPSC-transplanted mice were subsequently treated with CCl₄. The age-matched mice that received olive oil and sham-operated CCl₄ were used as negative and positive controls.
