Elastin-Targeted Nanoparticle Preparation

DiR dye (PromoCell GmbH, Heidelberg, Germany) loaded bovine serum albumin (BSA, Seracare, Milford, MA) nanoparticles (DiR NPs) and PGG loaded BSA nanoparticles were prepared using desolvation method and conjugated to anti-elastin antibody (US Biological, MA, USA) for targeting purposes as described previously [13 (link), 17 (link)–20 (link)] to obtain ELN-DiR NPs and ELN-PGG-NPs.
