Variable analysis
- Injection of 50 μL of lauromacrogol (Polyoxyethylene lauryl ether 1%; Tianyu, Shanxi, China) dissolved in distilled water into the superior scleral vein of one eye
- Placement of a 7-0 nylon suture around the equator of the eye at approximately 1.5 mm behind the limbus during the CS induction
- Induction of superior scleral vein congestion
- Induction of choroidal vein congestion
- Glass microneedle (33G, Hamilton) used to inject the lauromacrogol solution
- Placement of the suture anchor points below the conjunctiva, avoiding the major episcleral drainage veins
- Administration of antibiotic eye drops after the operation
- Control group accepted without any disposal

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
