- Intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of vehicle (5 M sodium citrate, pH 4.5)
- Blood glucose levels measured 7, 10, and 20 days after STZ or vehicle injection
- Weekly blood glucose levels measured in the morning between 08:00 – 10:00 until study completion
- Mice used in the study
- Portable Freestyle glucometer (Abbott Laboratories, Abbott Park, IL) used to measure blood glucose levels
- Blood obtained via tail snip
- Positive control: Mice receiving STZ injection
- Negative control: Mice receiving vehicle injection

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
