Cell Culture of Lung Cancer Lines

H1299 and A549 lung cancer cell lines were purchased from Zhong Qiao Xin Zhou Biotechnology (Shanghai, China). A549 cells were cultured in F12K medium (Zhong Qiao Xin Zhou Biotechnology) and H1299 cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium (Zhong Qiao Xin Zhou Biotechnology). Both media were supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum (FB15015; Clark Biosciences, Richmond, VA, USA). Sterile culture flasks and plates (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) were used to culture the cells. The cell lines were cultured as described previously 26 (link).
