At the end of the investigation, the animals were euthanized, the granuloma tissue samples were collected for histological investigation, and sections of liver, lung, and kidney tissues were taken from definite groups in the study. The samples were fixed in 4% buffered paraformaldehyde, followed by embedding in paraffin, and the sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) [71 (link),72 (link)]. All samples were then examined under a microscope (Leica DM 5000B, Wetzlar, Germany).
