Variable analysis
- Treatment with 0.1% DMSO (control) or FK866 (200 nM for primary hepatocytes, and 10 nM for pancreatic islets and hippocampal neurospheres)
- Transcriptional changes induced by FK866 treatment, as measured by microarray analysis
- Primary hepatocytes and pancreatic islets were isolated from 3 month-old C57BL/6J (B6) male mice (Jackson Laboratories)
- Positive control: Untreated primary hepatocytes, pancreatic islets, and hippocampal neurospheres
- Negative control: Primary hepatocytes, pancreatic islets, and hippocampal neurospheres treated with 0.1% DMSO

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
