Radiographic Analysis of Clavicular Aging

The radiographs of the clavicular sample were processed using Adobe Photoshop 2019 (version 19.1.6, Adobe Systems Inc., San Jose, CA, USA). The region of interest was selected at the medial end of each clavicle using a template size 3×3 cm² (261×261 pixels) with a reference point being at the sternal border of the clavicle (Fig. 1). Images containing artifacts such as remnant of clay were excluded. The number of total samples used was 625 and 363 for male and female respectively, allowing them to be distributed in 8 age groups (Table 1).
