Isolation and Characterization of Dental Pulp Stem Cells
Corresponding Organization : Aichi Gakuin University
Variable analysis
- Dental pulp harvested from the extracted incisors of 6-week-old male green fluorescent protein (GFP)-transgenic SD rats (SD-Tg(CAG-EGFP)Cz-0040sb)
- Adherent cells that were continuously expanded until the third passage
- Expression of cell surface markers of mesenchymal stem cells, such as CD29 and CD90
- Pluripotency to chondrocytes, adipocytes, and osteoblasts
- Phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.1% collagenase and 0.25% trypsin-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)
- Culture conditions: alpha modification of Eagle's medium (α-MEM) with 20% fetal bovine serum, 37 °C in 5% humidified CO2
- Non-adherent cells were washed off

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
