Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), 1-Dodecanethiol, stearamine (C18), 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC), N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), and 3-mercaptopropionic acid and triethylamine (TEA) were procured from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). PEG-AM (2 KDa) was purchased from PEG-Shop (SunBio Inc., South Korea). Manganese (II) chloride dihydrate (MnCl₂.2H₂O) and N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) were purchased from Merck (Darmstadt, Germany). Tris (4 7-diphenyl-1 10-phenanthroline) ruthenium(ii) dichloride (Ru(ddp)) was purchased from chemcruz (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Texas, USA) Other solvents and reagents were of analytical grade and used as received.
