Evaluating NHWD-870 and Sunitinib for A375 Xenograft

All animal experiments were performed in accordance with protocols approved by the Ethical Review of Experimental Animals committee at Central South University. A375 cells (2 × 10⁶) were suspended in 100 μl of PBS and inoculated into nude mice (Shanghai SLAC). Tumor-bearing mice were randomly allocated into groups. When the tumor volume reached 50-100 mm³, the mice were treated with vehicle (corn oil + citrate buffer (0.1 mol/L, pH = 3.5), orally), NHWD-870 (in corn oil, 0.75 mg/kg, orally), sunitinib (in citrate buffer, 40 mg/kg, orally), or a combination of both drugs for two days, and treatment was then stopped for one day. This process was repeated for the duration of the treatment period. The tumor size was recorded every three days, and the volume was calculated as [(length × width × width) / 2].
