The powdered samples of A. arborescens (200 mg) were placed in 10 mL of ethyl lactate. They were then put in a microwave reactor (Anton Parr, Buchs, Switzerland) with adjustable parameters (100 °C, 30 min, 15 W). After centrifugation at 9000× g for 30 min, the supernatant was evaporated under vacuum to yield a dark gummy extract (29.93 ± 1.2 mg; 15.0 ± 0.62%).
