The mRNAs were extracted from HeLa cells to synthesize cDNA using a GoScript Reverse Transcription System (Promega, Madison, WI, USA). SYBR Green PCR Master Mix (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA, USA) was used to perform quantitative real-time PCR in an ABI 7300 Detection System (Applied Biosystems) as previously described.^{48 (link)} The primer sequences are listed in Supplementary Materials (Supplementary Table S1).
