Immortalized Human Granulosa Cell Culture

A immortalized human primary granulosa (hGL5) cell line [51 (link)] was used for control experiments. hGL5 cells permanently overexpressing LHCGR (hGL5/LHCGR) were developed and characterized previously [9 (link),14 (link)]. Cell line were maintained in an incubator at 37 °C and 5% CO₂, in DMEM/F12 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Sigma-Aldrich), 100 U/mL penicillin, 50 µg/mL streptomycin (all from Gibco) and 2% ITS + Premix Universal Culture Supplement (#354352; Corning Incorporated, Corning, NY, USA).
