Genetically Modified Mice for Immunological Research

Mice were housed in individually ventilated cages under specific pathogen-free conditions. Conventional C57BL/6 mice (WT) were purchased from Janvier Labs. Il12rb2^−/−, Rag1^−/−, Rag2^−/−Il2rg^−/−, and Rorc^GFP/+ (Rorc^−/−) mice were purchased from The Jackson Laboratory. Il15ra^−/− mice were provided by S. Bulfone-Paus (Forschungszentrum Borstel, Borstel, Germany); Rorc-eYFP and Rorc^cre mice by A. Diefenbach (University of Mainz, Mainz, Germany); and Eomes^GFP/+ mice by S.J. Arnold (University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany; Arnold et al., 2009 (link)). All experimental procedures were performed according to the animal licenses approved by the Swiss cantonal veterinary office (licenses 145/2012 and 142/2015).
