Measurement of palmitate β-oxidation in pomca mutant fish

[1-¹⁴C] palmitate β-oxidation was performed as previously reported (Ning et al., 2017 (link)). The muscle tissue was collected from pomca mutant 1 and control siblings at 150 dpf. Palmitic acid [1-¹⁴C] (PerkinElmer, NEC075H250UC) was used. The radioactivity was determined using a Tri-Carb 4910TR Liquid Scintillation Analyzer (PerkinElmer).
