Histologic and immunohistochemical staining were performed on sections (25–30 μm) obtained from blocks of resected tissues (Table 1). Specimens from temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE)—one tuberous sclerosis (TS) and one cavernous angioma (CA)—were included in the study.
