Variable analysis
- Administration of 111 MBq (±10%) [123I]mIBG via slow intravenous injection
- Ten-minute anterior planar images acquired at 20 min (early) and at 4 h (± 30 min) after injection (delayed)
- Administration of potassium iodate tablets (170 mg) before and after injection to minimize uptake of free iodine by the thyroid
- Imaging performed on a dual-headed Siemens Symbia Intevo or Siemens Symbia gamma camera with medium energy low penetration (MELP) collimators, energy window of 159 keV ± 10%, matrix size 128 × 128 and no zoom applied
- Potassium iodate tablets (170 mg) administered before and after injection to minimize uptake of free iodine by the thyroid (positive control)

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
