FISH Analysis of Gut Microbial Composition

FISH was performed using an automated device (Biotrack analyzer; Biotrack B.V.; Leeuwarden, Netherlands). Fluorescent probes for F. prausnitzii (Fprau645), Clostridium group XIVa (Erec482), Roseburia (Rint623), Enterobacteriaceae (EC1535), and total bacteria (EUB338) were used to measure the effect of the riboflavin intervention (Benus et al, 2010 (link); Manichanh et al, 2006 (link)).
