Identification of Targets for Bioactive Components

The bioactive components of ZYP were acquired from our previous study. They are berberine, coptisine, evodiamine, and rutaecarpine.17 (link) Targets of these four chemical components were obtained from the TCMSP database (

https://old.tcmsp-e.com/tcmsp.php

), the SwissTargetPrediction database (

http://www.swisstargetprediction.ch/

), and the STITCH database (

http://stitch.embl.de/

). Since the targets’ names collected from the TCMSP database were not standardized, they were transformed using the UniProt database (

https://www.uniprot.org

). Targets collected from different databases were merged and the duplicates were removed.
