Variable analysis
- NLRP3 knockout (NLRP3^{–/–}) or wild-type (WT) (C57BL/6) mice in the model group
- Administration of 10 mg/kg of 200 μL LPS (E. coli O111:B4; Sigma-Aldrich) via intraperitoneal injection
- Biochemical, protein or nucleus assays on collected samples (retro-orbital blood, BALF, and left lungs)
- Histological analysis of the right lung
- Control mice administered with 200 μL PBS
- Blood cells washed out from the right ventricle by PBS perfusion before lung harvest
- Positive control: NLRP3^{–/–} or WT (C57BL/6) mice received LPS to induce ALI
- Negative control: Control mice received PBS

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
