Variable analysis
- The whole blood samples were collected from IE patients
- DNA libraries were quality controlled using an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and an ABI StepOnePlus real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system
- Qualified libraries were sequenced on a NextSeq 550Dx platform using a 75 bp sequencing read length
- The whole blood sample was centrifugated at 4°C to obtain about 300ul of plasma
- DNA was extracted using the TIANamp Micro DNA Kit following the manufacturer's instructions
- Template free control (NTC) was obtained by repeated DNA extraction and sequencing using blank tubes filled with UltraPure Dnase/Rnase-free distilled water

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
