Quantifying IL-10 Levels in Hepatitis E

Plasma concentrations of IL-10 cytokine were determined in representative plasma samples from each category of study subjects (acute hepatitis E patients, n =20; hepatitis E recovered individuals, n =20 and healthy controls, n =27) using a Bio-plex Multiplex Immunoassay System (Bio-Rad, Hercules, CA, USA) using a Bioplex ProTM Human Cytokine 27-plex assay kit as reported previously [24 (link), 25 (link)] as per the manufacturer's instructions.
