Total RNA was extracted using QIAzol (Qiagen), followed by cDNA synthesis using a miRCURY LNA RT (reverse transcriptase) Kit (Qiagen 339340). qPCR was performed using a CFX Connect reverse transcriptase-PCR detection system (Bio-Rad).
