RNA Extraction and Quantification Protocol

Total RNA was extracted from the allantoic fluids or liver tissues using RNAiso Plus total RNA extraction reagent (TaKaRa Biotechnology (Dalian) Co., Ltd., Dalian, China). Subsequently, cDNA was produced using the PrimeScript RT Reagent Kit with gDNA Eraser (TaKaRa Biotechnology (Dalian) Co., Ltd.). The mRNA expression levels of the target genes were measured using TB Green Premix Ex Taq Master Mix or the One-Step PrimeScript RT-PCR Kit (TaKaRa Biotechnology (Dalian) Co., Ltd.), as described previously [21 (link),22 (link)].
