Isolation of Cardiomyocytes from WT and NOX2 KO Mice

Animal protocols were approved by the Columbia University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and were carried out in accordance with the NIH guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. Wild type (WT) C57BL and B6.129S-Cybb^tm1Din/J (NOX2 KO) mice were purchased from Jackson labs. Mice were 9–12 weeks old at the time of experiments. Isolation of cardiomyocytes was performed as previously described using isoflurane for anesthesia [2 (link)].
