- Ionizing radiation (12 Gy in 6 × 2 Gy fractions)
- Ionizing radiation combined with KD for 25 days
- Tumor growth
- Female 4 to 6 week old athymic nu/nu mice
- Mia Paca-2 pancreatic cancer cells (2.5 × 10^6 cells) injected subcutaneously into the right flanks of mice
- Mice housed in the Animal Care Facility with procedures approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
- Standard mouse chow for control group
- Blood HbA1c and ketone levels measured to ensure mice fed with KetoCal® were in ketosis
