Bovine incisors were embedded in self-curing acrylic resin (Paladur, Germany) leaving the frontal enamel free of resin. Specimens were cut in half, and its lateral surface was polished down to 1 µm particle size. Then, teeth were treated with 0.1 mL of each treatment 3 times per day for 5 days (Table 1, Fig. S2.A). Since MOFs’ treatments are the only ones which are in powder, 1 mg of each MOF formulation was mixed with 15 µL of HEPES buffer and, then, was applied over the teeth.
