Authenticated human LIM1215 colon and U251MG glioma cell lines from ATCC were maintained in RPMI 1640/10% FCS, while HEK293 cells were maintained in DMEM 10% FCS. ADAM10 monoclonal antibodies 8C7 and 4A11 have been previously described [19 (link),20 (link)]. Commercially available antibodies were obtained: Phospho-Histone H2AX (Ser139) (clone 20E3) and Notch1 (clone D1E11) from Cell Signalling Technologies, Danvers, MA, USA), CD31 (clone MEC13.3, BD Pharmingen, San Diego, CA, USA) and pan-actin (ACTN05 (C4), Thermofisher, Waltham, MA, USA).
