Quantification of 18F-Florbetapir Uptake in LV Myocardium

The uptake of ¹⁸F-Florbetapir in the left ventricle (LV) myocardium was visually performed using static PET images from 0 to 60 min post-injection (p.i.). A total of 18 regions of interest (ROIs) including 17 segments of the LV were manually oriented and adjusted, and then automatically segmented by using the PCARD model in PMOD (version 4.2, PMOD Technologies LLC., Zurich, Switzerland). The ROIs delineation of the left and right kidney were manually drawn based on the first 5-min mean images. Time activity curves (TACs) were obtained by applying ROIs to 0 and 60 min dynamic images for kinetic analysis. The ROIs were also applied directly to parametric images for the estimation of DVR and R₁.
