RNA and DNA Extraction from Tumor Samples

Fresh tumor samples preserved in RNAlater (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany) were obtained in conjunction with routine clinical sampling by a diagnostic pathologist in regional pathology departments (see ^{5 (link)}). RNA and DNA were extracted using the Qiagen Allprep extraction kit (Qiagen) as described^{33 (link)}. DNA from whole blood was extracted by the Labmedicin Skåne Biobank.
