Fern Leaf Extract Preparation Protocol
Corresponding Organization : West Pomeranian University of Technology
Variable analysis
- Solvent extraction method using a mixture of methanol and distilled H2O (7:3, v/v)
- Extracts obtained from fern leaves
- Dried leaves were ground in a laboratory mill
- Samples of 0.5 g were transferred into 50 mL Falcon tubes
- Samples were mixed with 40 mL of the solvent mixture
- Extraction was performed for 30 min in an ultrasonic cleaner
- Samples were centrifuged for 5 min at 5000 rpm
- Extracts were filtered through 0.22 µm nylon membrane filters
- Three repetitions of each extract were prepared
- Extracts were stored in a freezer at -20 °C

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
