APAP-Induced Acute Liver Injury in Mice
Variable analysis
- Phosphate buffered solution (PBS) or APAP (300 mg/kg, dissolved in warm PBS, Sigma, USA)
- Src family kinase selective inhibitor PP2 (Selleck, China) injected intraperitoneally (1.5 mg/kg, dissolved in ethanol) at half an hour prior to APAP-treatment
- Serum ALT (alanine aminotransferase) levels
- Serum AST (aspartate aminotransferase) levels
- Liver histopathology (H&E stained paraffin-embedded tissue sections)
- Overnight fasting (approximately 16 h) prior to APAP administration
- Time points for sample collection (8 h and 24 h after APAP administration)
- Positive control: APAP treatment group
- Negative control: PBS treatment group

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
