Gefitinib-Resistant Cell Culture and Reagents

PC-9 gefitinib-resistant cells (PC-9-GR) was kindly provided by Dr. Bing Xia at Hangzhou Cancer Hospital (Hangzhou, China) [16 (link)]. H1975 cell lines was obtained from the American Type Culture Collection (Manassas, VA, USA). Cells were cultured in standard RPMI-1640 media (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) supplemented with 10 % heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA), 2 mM l-glutamine, and 1 % penicillin/streptomycin at 37 °C in a humidified incubator with 5 % CO₂. AT-101, ABT-263, and gefitinib were purchased from Sigma (St. Louis, MO, USA). Both reagents were dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), stored at−80 °C, and diluted in culture medium for described experiments.
