Gene Expression Analysis in Breast Cancer

RNA was extracted from breast cancer cells following specified treatments and cDNA synthesis performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and in accordance to a method previously described [McLean et al., 2015 (link)]. The primers for the GAPDH, CYGB, LTA, BAK1, and GADD45A genes were obtained from SA Biosciences (Frederick, MD). Relative fold changes in gene expression were calculated using the 2^−ΔΔC_T method.
