Murine Model of IL-7Rα Mutation

All mice were housed and used in the Center for Disease Modeling facility (CDM) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and all work with animals was carried out with approval and in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the University of British Columbia Animal Care and Biosafety Committees. IL‐7Rα^449F mice were generated in-house as described^{14 (link)}. Briefly, they express a mutant form of the IL-7Rα with a single amino acid mutation from Tyr to Phe at position 449. C57BL/6, BoyJ (B6.SJL‐Ptprca Pepcb/BoyJ) and C57BL/6-Tg (TcraTcrb) 1100Mjb/J (OT-I) mice were obtained from the Jackson Laboratory (Bar Harbour, ME, USA). IL-7^eGFP/eGFP mice were a gift from J.M. McCune (UCSF)^{29 (link)}. In all cases, age-matched and sex-matched male and female mice between the ages of 6–12 weeks were used.
