At 120 min after reperfusion, abdominal aorta blood samples were obtained and centrifuged at 4°C at 1800 g for 10 min to harvest the serum [21 (link)]. Levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatinine kinase-MB (CK-MB), and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) were measured following the manufacturers’ instructions of the LDH kits (A020-2-2, NanJing JianCheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China), CK-MB kits (JianCheng) and cTnI enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits (KE1457, Immunoway, Plano, TX, USA), respectively. Optical density (OD) values were measured using a microplate reader, and a standard curve was plotted to calculate the content and activity of each indicator of the samples.
