- Topical application of 45 μM MC903 (Sigma Aldrich) in 12.5 μl ethanol onto both sides of the ears of female C57BL/6 mice daily for 9 days consecutively
- Epidermis collected 6 hours after the last treatment for WZB-117 experiment
- Epidermis collected 24 hours after the last treatment for Aldara cream and MC903 experiments
- Topical application of vehicle (100% acetone) onto the ears of female ft/ft mice for 9 days in the WZB-117 experiment
- Topical application of petroleum jelly onto the ears of control mice in the Aldara cream experiment
- Topical application of ethanol (vehicle) onto the ears of control mice in the MC903 experiment
- Positive control: Topical application of Aldara cream (containing 5% IMQ) onto the ears of adult, age-matched, female C57BL/6 mice for 5 days to induce psoriasis-like skin inflammation
- Negative control: Topical application of petroleum jelly onto the ears of control mice in the Aldara cream experiment
